Disconnection

Disconnection is inspired by social connection; how being together brings companionship, community, safety, and inspiration, whilst being apart creates isolation, fear and insecurity. How emotions, when explored as a group, are easier to manage and process and how these past years have affected our connection with others and left many feeling isolated and removed.

The work was inspired by conversations with the dancers about why they love dance, what it uniquely brings and the importance of human connection and belonging.
