Elegbara was created as part of a commission between Linden Dance and the Ifa Yoruba Contemporary Arts Trust (Kate Luxmoore and Lekan Babalola).
‘Tales of Orisa’ explores the characters of the Yoruba deities celebrated across Africa and the Diaspora, through live music, dance and visuals. Linden Youth worked with Kate and Lekan to develop the choreography exploring the mischievous character of ‘Elegbara’.
