Movement, connection and creativity for everybody.
Keep Moving is Linden Dance Company’s inclusive monthly dance and wellbeing programme for adults, bringing people together through movement, creativity and shared experiences.
Led by Linden Director Sara Macqueen, Keep Moving offers welcoming, accessible dance sessions where participants can express themselves, explore their creativity, build confidence and connect with others in a positive and supportive environment.
Open to adults of all abilities and experience levels, the sessions celebrate individuality and encourage everyone to discover the joy of movement. Through creative dance, physical exploration and opportunities for self-expression, Keep Moving supports both physical and mental wellbeing while building meaningful connections and a sense of community.
Keep Moving is proudly supported by National Lottery Awards for All and Sport England, helping us continue to provide inclusive opportunities for adults to experience the positive impact of dance.

Our Journey
Keep Moving grew from the legacy of Critical Mass, the landmark inclusive dance project developed for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, and was initially developed in partnership with FABRIC.
Since then, the programme has continued to grow, creating opportunities for adults to experience high-quality dance, explore their creativity and develop lasting connections.
A highlight of this journey was UPLIFT, a collaborative performance bringing together Linden’s Keep Moving participants and FABRIC’s Future Shift dancers.
Choreographed by Sara Macqueen and Christopher Radford in collaboration with the dancers, UPLIFT explored empowerment, confidence and the freedom to be yourself, and was presented at Birmingham Weekender 2024.
Today, Keep Moving continues as part of Linden Dance Company’s commitment to making dance accessible, celebrating individuality and creating welcoming spaces where people can experience the joy and transformative power of movement.
