UNBOXED is a visually arresting outdoor dance production that transforms everyday public spaces into a stage for extraordinary physical performance. Through breathtaking lifts, dynamic partnering and fearless interaction with two monumental wooden cubes, the performers challenge the invisible boundaries that shape our lives.

Fast-paced, emotionally charged and deeply human, UNBOXED explores identity, perception and the assumptions we make about one another. Without relying on words, the work invites audiences of all ages to reflect on the barriers we inherit, the labels we accept and the connections we can choose to build instead.

Combining striking visual design with exhilarating contemporary dance, UNBOXED is an accessible outdoor performance that captivates audiences from the first moment to the last.

UNBOXED has been performed 64 times across the UK and internationally, reaching over 12,000 live audience members and around 2,100 students across 16 UK schools. It has toured to festivals including Arts by the Sea, SO Festival, Birmingham International Dance Festival, Refract, Appetite, First Light Festival, Dancin’ Oxford, European Athletics Official Fan Zone and Prizren Fest in Kosovo.
