What the Eye Sees is inspired by how bias is systemic in society, be that consciously or unconsciously. Judgements can be made about us based on factors that we cannot control, such as visual perception or cultural stereotypes.
The piece explores the way in which judgement and prejudgement can affect us and the struggle one person can feel when fighting against the tide of mass judgement.
